1. Have a king size breakfast
It is said you should have breakfast like a king. But actually most working moms tend to miss it out, right? Eating breakfast properly will help you avoid mid-morning hunger pangs at work, when you tend up eating some chips with cups of tea and coffee. Try including fresh fruits in your breakfast. These fresh fruits will suffice your glucose cravings and will keep you fresh and energetic whole day.
2. Have lots of water
Drink lots of water. It is best food for digestive system and also will keep you away from lots of health problems.
It is advised to have atleast 8-10 glasses of water in a day. You can begin your day with lukewarm lemon water. Add some flavours like lemon, mint if you don’t like plain water. In case you cannot have so much water add some fruits which are great in water content like watermelon, cucumbers etc.
3. Healthy Snacking
We all are fond of snacks but do you know most of us gain so many empty calories because of these unhealthy snacks. Now question arises how to maintain weight if I cannot give up snacks? Answer is you can have snacks. So if you want to have snacks just move out those biscuits and samosas from your desk, instead you can have some fruits and veggies like cucumber, lettuce, apples.
Or keep a small jar energy packed nuts on your table.
4. Green Tea: best diet to maintain weight!
Green tea is considered healthiest among your tea, coffee offerings. You can have it hot or cold as per your taste. It is the best step to take towards healthy lifestyle. You can have 4-5 cups of green tea in a day without bothering about any health concerns.
5. Always on move!
Keep yourself moving, if your job demands you to sit for long hours. Keep on taking stretch breaks every hour, keep on standing while making calls. You can go for short strolls after lunch. Walk upto cafeteria to get yourself a coffee instead of demanding on your desk. Instead of lifts, escalators use stairs, etc.
There are many options to keep you on move, just make up your mind and even without exercising you can keep yourself fit.
6. Balanced Diet
I cannot stay hungry, now how to maintain weight? Balanced diet is your solution. Balanced diet is most important to maintain weight and stay healthy. Add some protein to every meal. Make your dinner smallest portion in day. Limit carbohydrates in dinner even if you cannot completely leave it, like avoid white rice, cookies, cakes after 6 pm.
Fruits are best diet for weight loss. Stuff yourself with fruits to curb your cravings for sweets and chocolates.
7. Jump into some action
Indulge in yoga, swimming, gymming, jogging or in any sport or physical activity you like. Get in some action each day or atleast thrice a week to maintain your weight.
No matter how tied up you are, please don’t forget to take care of your health and body. Workout for 20 minutes, may be a short walk each day.
8. Set up practical goals
Don’t overstrain yourself being a perfectionist. I mean its wonderful to be perfect, but my concern is that you don’t stress yourself at cost of your health. Like its ok if could not complete 5 km run one day, instead its important to maintain that running regime each day.

Most of us are sleep deprived!
As running after office targets and home responsibilities,often leaves us too busy too catch that sleep. Remember those teen days when we used to sleep 10-12 hours in a day. Haa miss those days!
As per a research, if you want to stay hale and hearty, you should sleep atleast 5 hours a day. So sleeping well is easy way to lose weight. I guess its time to hit bed now!
Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day! So don’t expect results overnight. Just keep following these tips and have balanced diet to maintain weight. There will ups and downs too but you will ultimately see results.
